Technology changes. Schools need people who understand both.
GenTech was created from inside education, to help schools make sense of AI and technology and turn it into something that works for leaders, teachers and learners.
Built from inside education
I'm Ravi Chagger. I started as a classroom teacher, went on to lead computer science in secondary schools, and later led AI strategy across a multi-academy trust.
Along the way I worked on curriculum, cyber security, funding and staff development. I saw how often technology is easy to talk about and hard to make work in a real school, with real budgets and real workload.
Schools don't need more technology for technology's sake. They need people who understand what it can do, and what it actually means for leaders, teachers and learners.
That's why I started GenTech: to bring a community together and build a central education AI hub, so schools can share what works.

What I believe
Technology should strengthen learning
It should connect to what happens in the classroom, not add another layer of workload.
Every school is different
There is no template school. Good support starts with your people, priorities and context.
Teachers don't need to become specialists
They need practical confidence and support, in plain language, to use technology well.
Beyond one person
No single organisation has every answer on AI. GenTech works with trusted specialists, charities and technology partners, including Phil Wickins and digit, so schools get the right expertise for the job.
Let's make technology make sense.
